Fuzzy mice...

So I bought two fuzzy mice for my baby BRB, one small and one large, the small one is about as big around as my snake is I'm wondering if I should feed the large one or should I stick with the small one?

Well... I just put the large fuzzy in her enclosure an hour ago and she hasn't come out to touch it or nothing which is unusual because she usually comes out right away and eats it. So I'll wait and see if it's still there in the morning. Hopefully she'll eat it. I'll let you know in the morning. Thank you for asking

So she didn't eat last night I'm not sure why, should I wait a week to try again or maybe try again tomorrow?

Wait a week and try again Shauna. How long have you had your BRB and what are your temps like? Sometimes it takes new snakes a while to acclimate to a their new environment and some don't eat right away. As long as your husbandry is good just keep offering food every 7-10 days until she gets on track. Keep us posted on your progress please and share pics of your snake and setup when you can. I have had her since October 13th she has eaten 3 times since I've received her. Her warm side ranges from 80-85 cool side 70-75 and her humidity ranges from 50-75. But I don't see her exploring her cage as much as I used to so I don't know what is going on. I will try in another week thank you for your help. She was eating pinky mice do you think maybe the change in food could be the problem?

If she's eaten 3 times in 4 weeks I wouldn't be worried at all. You may even want to consider feeding her every 10-14 days if she refuses again. Some snakes do better on a bi-weekly feeding schedule. I have a young carpet python that only wants to eat every 2-3 weeks so I offer her food accordingly.

So I know I've asked this multiple times and I'm only asking again because I actually got to see her eat this time and seen how big of a bulge was in her "which was almost nothing" with a small fuzzy. So I was wondering should I Just Step Up to a large fuzzy or should I step up to... I think a hopper would be the next step up from there but I'm not sure which I should do for the next feeding. I'm sorry I've been so redundant and keep asking the same question I just want to be feeding her what she needs.
