So I have slowly but surely been getting all the supplies I need for my first noodle and now I'm all ready! Problem is now I can't find any babies! I was looking specifically for a Mexican Black Kingsnake and I can't find them anywhere! I unfortunately missed a huge reptile expo close to me due to a migraine but plan to go for the next one (Nov 11). I also seemed to miss a sale of babies from a reputable online breeder, when I called and asked about when the new little ones would be in I never got a straight answer. I suppose that's fair, you can't say for sure. Basically my question is will there be more babies available soon this year? Should the next show have some goth noodles? Yes, I am impatient 🤓
Over here they are fairly common and not hard to find at any reptile expo.. Pretty snakes, one of my favorites :)

Have you checked Kingsnake Classifieds and Fauna Classifieds? You may get lucky at one of those two sites.

Thanks for the replies, I have checked those sites out and the two left are female and I was looking for a male. I'm a bit wary of private sellers I guess, higher prices and you never know if they'll come covered in mites or something. I'm hoping to get from someone with a solid reputation or at least in person at a show. I was more just wondering if the timing would line up. Again, I'm being impatient I've just been getting ready for months.

Mexican Black Kings are pretty desirable they sell out quickly even though they are pretty common overall.

If you're in Southern California (Los Angeles area) I know a reputable shop that has 3 left (1 male and 2 females). PM me for the details if you are in that area.

Be careful at the expos and reptile shows bc they are the number one place to pick up a mite infested snake/s. Make sure you have a list of what you want and try to find it quickly. The longer you remain at a reptile show going from table to table increases your risks of a exposure. Remember to use the hand sanitizer at the show and decontaminate yourself before going into your home. I actually think most smaller breeders pay more attention to detail and cleanliness of their collection than some of the regulars at the expos. You may want to spray the soles of your shoes with proventamite b4 going into the show.
