AP Cage Stacking

Hello.
I simply wanted to inquire if anyone has the experience.
Could one stack 3 T20s (6ft*2ft*2ft) and not be concerned with collapse?
I am also pondering for the sake of stability using a TV harness, but that may be overkill or not really help...

They say that you can stack all their products. If worried, just get a peice of plywood cut 6x2 and put it between the stacks. I plan on eventually having 2 of these stacked with boas in the bottom and then lighter snakes like my SD retic and ridleyi in the tops. All together 4 enclosures. Then on those will be 3x2x1 enclosures for my smaller studd like male NO, corn/king snakes, ect.

Again, this is just a plan, not experience, which I know is what you asked for. However, I have been researching AP for a while now. You can't beat their larger cages or their economy racks.

AP cages are actually really quite sturdy, no issues. I have mine stacked now. The material feels hard and stiff, fairly dense plastics, it's no wimpy, bendy stuff.

You can stack them up to 5 high (at least the T10s--I don't have T20s).

AP Cages makes some sturdy, robust stuff. Their service is slower than a snail on crutches but it's worth the wait.

They did get back to me and it does appear I can stack the 3 together. I do not see there being much weight in the cages in total.

Dad and I are planning to make a Oak 2x4 frame on casters.

My dad's thought is to screw through the bottom of the cage into the 'dolly'. Also, potentially bolting them together in the back. In either case we would be sealing with the

Do we see any issues with that? On the first cage we did a second layer of sealing the corners as we had the material so layering over the holes and protrusion should be easy.

Since you have one. I was wondering how high the front lip of the AP cages is. What's the deepest you can have your substrate?

I'm guessing it doesn't matter too much. My plastic vivs only have a shallow lip but silicone on a plinth and you can tailor the lip to your requirements.

Because they're plastic it doesn't matter about moisture contacting odd parts of the viv.

Since you have one. I was wondering how high the front lip of the AP cages is. What's the deepest you can have your substrate?
Just measured it at about 4" high. That's the internal frame between the sliding doors and the inside of the cage.

Thanks. I've been a very good boy in terms of not regrowing my collection too fast and I'm kind of getting that itch again. Since taking up an interest in the bioactive stuff the cage planning needs to be a bit more, how do I say. Thorough.

The species I'm thinking of getting needs a bit more space in order to have a "big" enclosure like my Baird's do so I'm debating building an enclosure or getting one.

So far I'm very happy with it. Still in the have to pick up poop stage but I'm looking forward to not having to do so.
