Sometimes when I hold my bp, he snorts, and sometimes breathes irregular. Any ideas on what it could be?

update:
I'm aware that it might be stuck shed, but, he hasn't shed in quite a while. I don't know if it should be a respiratory infection, because I haven't seen any excretions from his nose. I'm probably going to take him to the vet to check, anyway.

could just be stress. how often are you holding? how long after feeding? why are you holding to begin with? how are your temps? humidity?

my BCI was blowing "big" bubbles one day, the day it bit me (in defense), but that was due to my cleaning, moving it around so I could clean, etc. haven't seen nary a bubble since, even when I removed her for a full cleaning the other day.

Don't rule out respiratory infection as a slight possibility especially if he opens his mouth a lot, if he is showing any other signs of illness take him to a reptile veterinary, hope its not this and he is just being loud.
