Spot clean as needed varies depending on species. My king vs my boa is very different. Complete cleaning every 2 months or so.

Thanks for reminding me...my CP's home needs a cleanup this morning! This just after feeding on Wednesday and a shed on Thursday.

Like Blaze I spot clean as necessary and do a complete cage cleaning every 2 months or so. And like Scuba, I have to clean cages today :(.

Rarely to never. Joys of being predominantly bioactive. Those vivs that are naturalistic as opposed to do bio get a full substrate change every 6 months. Spot cleaned the rest of the time.

For bioactive setups never yet, for conventional setups a full bedding change gets done once every 4-8 weeks.

Depends on the species and the individual. My sand boas get cleaned out fully once every two months. The rat snake gets cleaned out once every two weeks usually. I spot clean in between and really just clean it out once they've effectively soiled it.

It's as well we come from a long line of Irish navies or we'd be stuffed 😂

For a giant, I could understand a full substrate change, but not for my midsize varieties!
