So I came home today from work and when I went downstairs I was surprised to find my boa in the ball python shelf of the enclose (3 tier rack). Im so confused as to why this would happen. We recently moved so I didn't have everything set up correctly so she must've gotten out. They ate 3 weeks ago (the boa is almost 2 years old) and I had them both out on the grass 2 weeks ago to stretch. Has anyone ever experienced something like this?

More likely, when the boa got in the ball python got out.

What was the size difference between te animals? you sure the ballpython didn't just take off?

This is probably what happened unless your boa looks very full. Neonate boas will certainly eat cold blooded prey, but eating other snakes in captivity is rare for the species.
I think toddnbecka is right... I mean it's not impossible, I guess, but most snakes I think are picky eaters... Did you check your boa for a lump?
