I purchased a male baby albino burm today from Bob Clark. He is en route and should arrive by 10 am. Once he gets in his cage and somewhat settled I will post some pics. Got the cage and all the temps correct and setup today so now I just wait :freakedout: :freakedout:

To be honest something like a burm, retic, olive - the real food oriented snakes - I offer on day one and if they eat great - you know have good eater. I don't force the issue, just wiggle a mouse in front of them for a few seconds, so not enough to stress it.

If they don't I then hold of a week or so before trying again.

Bob emailed me and let me know he was hatched 05/15. Two weeks. Is that too soon to ship out? I wonder how many meals he had before coming to me

Ask Bob :)

But likely just 1.

Given that you normally wait until after first shed to feed I can only see it having had one or two at the most.

That's cool. I'll let him get adjusted a good 7-10 days then see how he does eating then.
