Cage cleaning

Hey guys just curious what you use to clean your cage? Not for mites just general cleaning. I use green works and I like it but I always want more options

I recommend F10. It is a veterinary grade antiseptic and doesn't need to be aired out before the animals are put back in the enclosures. One bottle also lasts quite a while as it is sold as a concentrate that you dilute.

When I do an entire cage cleaning, I use this stuff called "wipe out' by zoo med. In the past I used to do a 5% bleach water solution and rinse/wipe everything extremely well with plain water. Both have worked fine for me. As chairman suggested, I have heard good things about F10 and plan on buying some myself in the future.

I just use cleaning grade vinegar and a steam cleaner, also helps 100% with smells. I prefer not to use anything too chemical if i don't have to :D F10 isn't for sale here as far as I know either.l

Chlorhexidine or f10. Sometimes even just hot water and elbow grease. I would be hesitant to use green works because of its strong smell.

I did use F10 but the distributor has changed in the UK and it's now suddenly much harder to get hold of.

I now use Tamodine. Very similar in application and is also used as a very effective reptile wound cleaner.

Spingtails...pillbugs...soilmites...millipedes...b unch of plants...

I just have to pick up whatever hairs are left over out of the pile of poop 1 day later, the rest is processed, even the sheds if I would leave them in (though I take them out to collect them for my mother who's using them in school).
