Two New Additions to the Python Clan

These little guys came from Bob Clark. Both are late 2016 models. They are a Banana Cinnamon male and a normal female. So now I have 1 each of Purple Passion, Mojave Spider and Banana Cinnamon males, along with 1 normal and 2 Super Mojave females.

Here's the Banana Cinnamon male. He's a little shy at first but then curiosity gets the better of him and he's all up in your grill exploring. In keeping with the superhero names for the ball python contingent (a concession to my husband who is a superhero fan and has been remarkably tolerant of the snake obsession) his name is Sunfire. He's got a flash of iridescence on the top of his head.

Here's the normal female. She's very friendly and curious. She hid her face for just a few seconds and then she was in my face. And hair. And shirt. I know normals are considered plain but I think she's gorgeous. Her name is Medusa.

Beautiful! Nothing plain about a wild type, to me personally she's the best looking of the 2. matter of taste really :D

I got them both to take F/T rat pups on the first try! Bob was feeding them live so I thawed them in warm water, then dumped it, got the water really hot and let them sit in the jacuzzi for a few minutes. Dried them and opened their mouths so the snakes could smell their saliva. Did the zombie rat scamper, making the rats peek into the hides as if to see what was in there. Right on cue, each little head popped out and snatched the "curious" rat pup.

Sometimes making the switch to F/T is a melodrama. I'm glad these two were willing to go along with it. :)
