So, we went to the pet store while out of town and this super friendly little guy won me over. No clue what color morph he/she counts as but this baby is tiny. Only 6 grams. Brought him home on the 3rd and already convinced him (saying him cause I don't want to call my snake an it) to eat a single pinkie mouse last night. He is a little thinner then I like, but still, exceptionally friendly and so cute!
They have what looks to potentially be a lavender baby at the local pet store too. Being so hard to resist the temptation to go get it. If I had known about that one before I got this one I may have gotten that one instead. But oh well. Have this one now, and I am keeping him.
Anyway, for now he is in a exoterra 24 x 18 x 12 tank. I will be upgrading him to something custom made when he is older. And bigger.

I named him Lysandre.

Congratulations, and that tank is plenty big enough!

Happy to report he ate a pinkie Thursday night and was zombie eyed by Saturday morning. Hopefully he will have a smooth shed.

Congrats. He is adorable. It is so gratifying to raise a baby. It's hard to tell from the picture but for such a tiny one he doesn't look too thin to me. They all look like skinny loaves of bread at that point. It's is neat that he's so relaxed. That is unusual for a baby but certainly not unheard of. Just goes to show how individual they all are.

Nice little corn! He is not thin, and he is a wild type/normal. Enjoy him. :)

Nice corn :) Babies tend to look "skinny" especially when compared to some of the thicker species of snakes. I have a baby (not a corn snake) that's about the same size as yours, when I got him two months ago.
