repack frozen mice/rats?

hey guys i just received a shipment of 10 mice 25 weaned rats and 15 small rats. they all came vacuumed sealed as one. 3 packages but all mice in one and all 25 in another an so on. when i go to open the mice/rats do i just take one out than throw em back in the freezer or should i than individually wrap the other 9 and put them back? i do not have a vacuum sealer or i would just use that. if it was steak for us and you take one out anybody would repackage the other 9 to keep them fresh. are rodents like that? ahahah thanks for any tips. hope everyone has a good day!

If they aren't vacuum packed, frozen rodents will last 6-8 months on their own, so with 25 being the highest amount you have in a pack they should do just fine in the freezer on their own. I just open the pack, take out what I need, and put the rest back in the freezer still in the original bag unless I have to individually weigh and distribute them like I do with my rainbow Morzan, who requires a specific gram weight in his mice or he'll regurge.

Ziploc baggies work well for repacking. I wouldn't keep exposed people food in the freezer...same for the snakes.

The MOST you need is a Ziploc!

Once I cut open the bag, I just slip the original bag into a one gallon ZipLock so that I can seal it up and remove the excess air to prevent freezer burn.
