So i received the checkered garter snake, its so cute. I went ahead and already fed it 2 worms, i know your suppose to wait a couple days before feeding, but i won't be home for the next 2-3 days and baby garters have to eat atleast twice a week. so i just went ahead and fed him. he took the worms so fast. Such a good hunter. I'm not going to handle him for the next week so he can settle in! so happy to add this little guy to my family :). Sorry i cant do pictures right now as i dont have any yet.

Congrats! I always did like garters. The teacher I TA'ed for had a garter that was pretty mellow that I would hold him while I was doing whatever for the teacher. Also kept her students from bugging me too much hahaha.

Pics!!!!!! Garters are awesome snakes. Just when I think I make up my mind on my next snake I get a new idea lol
