Hi,
I got her from top of the line breeder. Left her alone for 10 days. Fed it live hopper. She attacked the hopper like there is no tomorrow. Ate. I left her alone for another 72 hours after she ate. Now got he and started handling her. She didnt hiss attacks or anything. BUT at the beginning for minute or two she wasnt tongue flicking AT ALL. How come? I am new person to her.. she should be worried... after few minutes tarted flickering. I the cage before I saw her moving without tongue flicking too.
No other symptoms of mouse rot at all.

Should I be worried?

My lil guy hardly flicked his tongue around me for the first 6 weeks or so. I was worried at first but he seemed perfectly healthy so I continued to let him be as much as possible and as soon as he settled in he was flicking his tongue when I'd take him out, as he moved about his cage, even as soon as I lifted his hide up from over him. I'm sure she's just getting accustomed to her surroundings :)
