This is a work in progress that I started tonight. How'd I do? I really enjoyed this so I might end up doing more. The body length is pretty short and it's kind of skinny but that kind of works better for a necklace so I went with it. It needs a small touch up because the body didn't stay attached to itself like it should have and then I can start on painting it. I plan on basing it off my normal.

The original plan was for its head to come up a little higher like it was moving toward the viewer and it did at one point when I tried it but it looks like it got changed during the process and lays flatter now. Oops.

I'm hoping to sell it and any others I make in the future!

Thank you! I just started working with clay in December and haven't tried to paint anything yet [other sculpts didn't call for paint] so I'm curious how it will go. I'm used to canvases so it should be fun. I would really like to grow this into a side business, if possible, so I'm shooting for perfection haha.

Thanks! I had a bit of a setback when baking and it broke in three pieces.

Luckily, I was able to fix it!

I might end up keeping this one as a practice piece and making a new one to sell. It has some parts on it that I'm not very happy with.

I also finished this piece the other day.

Wow, the paint came out great! Very cute. I would have freaked when the first one broke while curing. I guess it's all part of the process of making art though!

The finished one is actually the same one as the broken on! I was able to add more clay and smooth it out to fix it!
Thanks for all the compliments!
I'm now selling customs for $25 on my Etsy shop and hoping to get some orders soon!

Also... I think I used used up my monthly exclamation mark quota O_O
