Long story short, after things didn't work out with my hognose I was kind of soured a little on having another snake/reptile (I'd rather not go into details). I ended up impulse buying a leopard gecko (not really an impulse since I have about 10 years of experience with leopard geckos) back in December. She's growing like a weed and now that I got some of the positive experience back with reptiles about a month or so ago I decided to buy myself a slightly early birthday gift. A snake that had been on my short list if I was going to get a second snake (only snake now). It's been a while since I've posted but I have talked about getting an albino house snake. I ended up getting a tiny male shipped to me on the 2nd and he's already eaten for me twice and shed. First time he was shy about eating, the second he pounced on his food right away. Fingers crossed he eats for me a third time and I'll start handling him very briefly (he's so small right now, pencil small).
His name is Thor (haha I know, might name for the pencil noodle) and I've included his breeder's photo and my terrible photo (my iPad couldn't quite figure out what to focus on).

Wish me luck and omg he is the cutest thing :)

Thank you! I adore him :) Just have to get past the worry I might squish him when I pick him up. He's so tiny. And so curious if a little shy still. When I went to pick him up at the shipping hub I had to open his box in my car right away. He came right up to check out my fingers holding his cup.

From a breeder I found thru a facebook group for House Snakes. House Snake breeders are a little harder to find. But this guy answered my millions of questions, was able to give me a log of his feeding and his hatch date (which wasn't my experience with the hognose). Plus I like that so far he's being good about eating.

Great addition Mag! There's something special about those house snakes and yours is a real beauty.

Ugh I had this typed out and then website went black on me...... annnnnyway.

Grizla, I love his pattern too. It might fade if I remember correctly, but I'm hoping not too much.

El Ziggy, Thank you :) and such he is a neat and special little tiny snake. I hope to get more pics when he's feeling a little more comfortable. So far I only get pictures like the one below. He's curious but still nervous. Likes to pop his head out like this when he hears me messing around in his tank. If I hold still he'll just watch me but the minute I move he zips back in only to pop back out when I start moving again.

He gets his third meal with me tomorrow afternoon. I have a feeling he's ready for food haha.
