My bci finally dropped a deuce after nearly 60 days. I came home to a nice steaming pile after work lol. Out of curiosity what's the longest you've had a boa go without defecating?

Usually it's the hatchlings that hold onto their stool bc they use almost every ounce of nutrition for growth, hydration and overall metabolism. I don't own a boa, but I have a ball python juvenile who when he was a hatchling had 7 meals over the course of 5 weeks without a bm. He even shed and still held on to all that. Lol.

I don't mark the day my snakes poop, but when my sunglow was smaller, she'd on average poop every 3-4 meals eating biweekly, so about every 2 months give or take a week or two. Once I moved her off of heat tape and under a heat lamp, she poops on average every 1-2 meals. That hasn't changed since, and she'll be 2 years in a few months. Some of my boas poop within a week of every meal, it just varies.

It's always a relief when a snake poops! I had a snake that went 3 weeks without eating or pooping but it was a baby and getting adjusted to its new home, though it wasn't a boa.

I agree. I am currently waiting for my new boa to defecate. She may have before I picked her up as she was fed on Tuesdays, but she refused her first meal with me this week. I picked her up from the LPS on a Monday, and tried to feed her Tuesday per the LPS schedule of feeding, no luck though :/.
