Has proved out and is amazing. There were 3 single gene pieds hatched out (on the left). There are 2 double gene pieds (right). Hatched out 2/28/17 - 3/4/17. They haven't taken a meal yet and one is still in shed. This pic is pre shed on all of them.

Sorry for the blurry pic. I will post a better closeup pic tomorrow. So far 1 male and 4 females. Subject to change as they put on size.

Eeee!!!!! congrats!!! I love the markings on all of them :D Thanks TR. The one pastel pied with the cleaner pattern was the last to emerge from the egg but outweighs 3 out of the 5 hatchlings.

What did you prove out Albert? Also how do know it was dual sired? Congrats again.. Well, by pairing my 1.0 pastel pied and my 1.0 single gene pied X a single gene pied female that she would produce a combination of both double gene and single gene offspring. Which of course is not the 50% expected ratio but there were only 5 eggs. Thanks too.
Congrats! Nice clutch:D. Thank you. Now comes the hatchling care part which is really the fun part.
Wow!! Very nice.. Thanks. That's exactly what I said when the first pastel pied emerged!
They look great Albert! I look forward to the 2 coming my way.

Wow! These pied hatchlings are being very picky and difficult to get started feeding. Actually, two of the five have taken live hoppers. The other three act afraid of the hoppers. Shoe box tubs in a hatchling rack with temps of 89F at the rear of the tub and 84F at the front, humidity 50 -60% one hide with a cypress mulch/ care fresh mix. Water dish and press and seal over half the tubs. The rack is a rear heat model from reptile basics on a Herpstat set at 93F. Did not have this issue with previous clutches.

Congrats man! They look amazing! I am sure you will get them taking every offered meal in no time. =). Thank you Mink! I get the new live hopper shipment Wed. so I have been really not disturbing them at all until I am ready to feed at that time. Very interesting clutch that is challenging me but I love it. I plan to win this war. Lol. Tried to get the non feeders to take f/t but two out of the three struck defensively then retreated. The other one scrambled into his hide. Go figure. I'll be glad when they think hey I'm supposed to eat you. We'll see.

Ooooh lovely. I've always liked the look of piebald ball pythons :) Good luck with feeding.
