I have been dreading this for a couple of weeks now... If you guys remember, when I moved in here and I was filling out the paper work, and I came across the section that said "no snakes", I said out loud NO SNAKES! and she said {the manager}Oh you can have snakes... I didn't question it... I don't know if she was serious or not... I don't think she knew she was letting pandora out of the box...

I live in government subsidized apartment and thats who was doing the inspection along with my manager... The guy walks in and out of my snake room and says "that's a lot of snakes"! My wife had kind of warned my manager a week ago and she says to her, would you like to see the snakes? She said no... So I think i'm ok...

I have been waiting to see how this goes before planning George's next cage... I'v just about scraped up enough money for his new set up... We're having fun now!

I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you. This is why I'm thankful to not have to rent anymore, although I'm worried for our HOA

Hope it all goes well and they don't care about the snakes.

hopefully they only care about dogs..snakes don't cause damage like other pets can. Fingers crossed for you that they don't give you any trouble!

Possible scenerio...your deposit goes up or they require you to get increased insurance coverage.

Good luck!

Got it in writing that small caged animals do not count toward the animal restrictions on our condo. Every time someone complained (including their own HOA) we just referred them back to the promise they made with proof. Luckily they also do not follow up a complaint that is only made by one person. You have to annoy multiple neighbors and I finally shut my downstairs neighbor up about our rabbit drinking at night by telling her to ask her neighbors what they hear at night given it was mostly college students on our floor and a few groups of partiers including ones that had to illegally crack the fire door to get the marijuana smell out lived across from us in the years we spent in the condo. If she didn't shut up we were about to call child services on her for all the crap we heard between them and their child. We have rabbits drinking out of water bottles... they are screaming at a crying child, threatening him, and slamming doors in the middle of the night. Do you really want to go there lady? They even called the police and the city but we were causing no noise complaint and they referred her back to the HOA.
