Anyone going to the Norther American Reptile Breeders Conference at Tinley Park (Illinois) later this month (18-19 March)?
I was looking for local, greater Washington D.C., expos, etc and I happen to stumble across the one above...looks really fascinating, and pocket draining.
I can't make the one later this month, but the one on 7-8 October will probably be a go for me...it's just a 12h drive...one way.

No offense, but...I hate you!! :p
I'll have to contend myself with going to the All Maryland Show (2h) north of me on the 11th and then the Richmond VA show (1h) south of me on the 18th.
Of course, if I win the lottery between now and then, and we all know how that will go, I'll be there for the two days. Just hold a place for me in line!

Every single time I say I'm not going to spend any money at a trade show, I walk about with $500 of merch. That's one of the reasons I don't like going to these things.
I'm jealous of anyone going to the Tinley Park one. I've heard it's pretty big, with some really reputable companies in attendance. So if anyone does go, please post lots of pics.

I'm most likely going to this. It's about 3 hours away from me and I still feel bad about missing the fall show. :/ Boyfriend has said no to more snakes, so I will mostly just be fawning over animals I can't have.

That leaves the door WIDE open to other animals...like a cute, cuddly Monitor, Chameleon, Iguana, or other fauna!

I'll take plenty of picture :) I'm excited. This will be my first reptile show.
I'll be there as well. Not looking for anything as I have breeders lined up for anything potential, but I know AP cages attends and I'd like to discuss the issues around a potential difficult cage size. (theoretical spilotes cage)

On their website, AP lists all the custom cages they've designed with customers. I hope they can help you. Heard really good things about them
I think I know the ones you are talking about, but I'm thinking much bigger if it happens.

Haha, I wish. Unfortunately, his rule extends to other animals too. He tried to tell me starting a bioactive viv would count as "getting more animals" because I'd adopt thousands of isopods. If I lived alone, I would probably already have a monitor or tegu. And probably some larger snakes.
Anyway, if anyone going wants to meet up at some point, I think it'd be nice to see some of you.
