I am in the market searching for an Red Ridge Tailed Monitor.
This time however, I am much more educated, and have gotten an extremely large cage prior to getting the monitor.
My new cage measures...
72"LONGX36"WIDEX24"DEEP
That's 6 Feet Long BY 3 Feet Wide BY 2 Feet Deep
I am hoping that this will last him/her for life.
THANKS!

right on...do you have any pics of it?
That should be plenty big for even a trio. I have heard that Ackies are much more fun when you get a group. Good Luck, I am sure you'll love them.

A cage that size could happily house a group of Yellow Ackies as big as 4 or 5 in number. For Red Ackies, I think you'd find it crouded with 3 and also not deep enough.
Keep in mind, if you are looking to purchase babie(s)/juvinile(s), they should be raised into sub-adulthood in a smaller enclosure. It makes things much easier that way.
Best wishes,

I would love to get 3 or even four Yellow ackies. (I have decided to go with yellow as their size is more conveinient.)
But I don't have the funds, maybe I'll be able to get two right off the bat, but then I will have to introduce another later. Which I wil probably do.
As for the pictures, sorry, not yet, but I will post some the second I get them developed.
Thanks again,
