ive been told when i posted similar questions , that a snake is worth what you are willing to pay for it, if you like it pay what you feel its worth . jmo
Yeah that's nice and all but why pay more if you don't have to??? I don't have stacks of money tucked away in my sock draw just to spend extra money unessararaly. Like I said before... I know it's not easy to estimate the price for a snake especially without atleast a pic to judge by. I just was curious to know what an average (nothing special) reduced pattern ball would be worth???
I am looking at a very nice healthy reduced pattern right now with very nice light coloring and temperment.... Guys asking $120US Im no expert so I don't know if thats a good deal or not. Do I like the snake? yes. Would I pay 120 for it? yes. Do I wanna pay 120 for it if I don't have to? NO.
I see what your saying though, thanks.
Unfortunatly you are going to get a lot of people saying it all depends on what YOU feel the snake is worth, and i agree with them 100%. If you dont feel comfortable paying $200 for a snake, then you're not going to buy it no matter what right? I also feel it depends on the individual snake, how reduced are we talking? For instance, i picked up this female in 02' for $120 CDN. Maybe this pic will help you judge what the one you're looking for is worth?

Hope this helps you a bit.. :D (if it didnt, i'll use it as an excuse to show of my little girl)
Now that's helpfull.... the one Im looking at is a little more slightly reduced but the tone of colors is about the same. I'd say it's more like the back half of your ball as far as pattern spread pretty evenly through out the length of her, not so busy up front like yours. So Im guessing 120 bucks is prolly a pretty fair price. Not that I didn't personally think so in the 1st place.... but it's nice to know if your getting taken or not.
Nice snake by the way...... anyone else wanna share pics of there's????
I really need a freak'in camera......

thats a nice reduced pattern ball python and for 120 you got a very great deal. dvs you will have a hard time finding any thing with more of a reduced pattern for such a good price. and by the looks of that side shot it is a bit banded. i also have been doing some poking around looking for reduced patterns. they have/had some nice ones for sale at KS, but i dont want to by a herp without seeing it myself or unless it is from a well known breeder.
and the tail of that ball python is so amazing. if i knew how i would post a pic of a spider ball, thats about as reduced as they come.

k......im lost here......you were wondering if paying $120 was too much to pay for a reduced, but someone shows you a spider and its all good? maybe i'm mistaken, but what gives?
No..... someone showed me there reduced so I could somewhat compare.... the spider had nothing to do with it... just nice to look at.
I just bought a pair not to long ago, I dont have a digital camera yet or I would show ya, but I got a great deal, guy was just needing to get rid of them before his wife left em so I got 1.1 1year old for 120!
I was not looking to expand the collection right then but could not turn down the deal :)
