I currently have a Spotted Python that hasn't shed in over six weeks. His last shed was on the fifteenth of January. I've got the humidity at around 40%, a temperature of 87 degrees, and a 12/12 day night cycle. He's been constantly eating 2 pinky mice every feeding, and I feel like he's still a little small for fuzzies. Am I just being a worry wart, or is there something that I can do?
He will shed when it is time to, don't worry. Saying that, I'd be comfortable placing money on him being be large enough to take fuzzies as spotted pythons are able to take large meals and it is also appropriate for them to do so during the growth stage. Try moving him up to larger prey if you feel that he isn't getting enough.

I think shedding is only a problem if they're having stuck shed issues. If they just haven't started the cycle yet then they probably just aren't quite ready.
If you're very concerned and want to do something for your peace of mind, provide a humid hide.

What are you expectations for the shedding frequency?
