I have a 36x18x18 tank. I want to get something new. I have 2 ball pythons and crested geckos. I don't want to deal with crickets or anything too high maintenance. Any suggestions?

Maybe a blue tongue skunk? They don't need live prey and can live in a 40 gallon. Really great reptiles, tons of personality.

That was one of the animals I looked at. Along with a togo fire skink. Still haven't made up my mind

Trans-Pecos rat snake? They are cute, bug-eyed, gentle, easy to handle and do very well in glass aquariums with screen tops and aspen bedding as they need lots of ventilation and lower humidity than most snakes. They take prey one size smaller than another snake of the same size would eat. They're available in lots of different colors. VMS Herp has some nice blonde phase hatchlings for sale if you like those.

Care sheet with an emphasis on breeding but also lots of general care info: Breeding Trans-Pecos Rat Snakes (http://www.reptilesmagazine.com/Breeding-Snakes/Breed-Trans-Pecos-Rat/)

A 4ftish kingsnake will be fine in that cage, I've read BTS really need a 4x2 as adults but will take awhile to outgrow that tank. I'm guessing by the dimensions it's glass so milks would be fine as well. Personally I love the jet black MBK look, I don't have one right not but one day might crack.

I might sound like a broken record but a carpet python would do well in there. :)

It's a custom 4 tank wood enclosure. So, upgrading is not an option. I like the idea of a lizard of some sort.
