Hey guys!

I am Ana, 28 years old, living in Germany, originally from Portugal.

I have kept a few snakes throughout the years, while I was living in Portugal, and I have finally made the step to get my first snake here in Germany, as well as my first big snake. I got an Albino Burmese Python, a male, 5 months old. He is very calm, but still getting used to the new environment.

I will make sure to post some pictures, as soon as the stress of moving to a new home is gone.

I am looking forward to sharing this experience with you guys, and of course to learn more and more about these wonderful animals and the hobby!

See you around!

Cheers!

So here's a picture of my handsome fellow, as promised!

He is doing great so far! He had his first meal with me last night and didn't even flinch! Haha! I wanted to wait at least 5 days before offering food, but yesterday he was already so active and appeared so comfortable in the enclosure that I thought I would give it a shot.

Hope you guys like it! As for me, I am surely amazed with this little cutie ^^

What a beautiful baby you have! I'm new to this forum as well. But also new to snake keeping. I've had tons of different animals. Since you're a veteran snake lover, any tips for a newbie? I have a baby albino corn snake. He's a sweetheart!

Awww, thanks Kathryn, you're a sweetheart ^^ But I am by no means a veteran :p I love snakes, I have kept a few, but I am still learning :D There are a lot of people here who are much more qualified to give advice, hehe :) I have been reading your posts though, and I believe you are doing a terrific job with Alex! I read you're dealing with mites at the moment, and you seem to be handling it very well. I wish you the best of luck and hope Alex grows healthy and happy :)
