thanks everyone! i was lucky with my hypo hog, i was able to hand pick it from the litter and I chose Edgar because the red and pink on him really stood out in comparison to the rest. and yeah ive noticed that the albino's tend to fade which is a little disapointing but hopefully he wont fade too too much
Very nice boas. Thanks for sharing them with us.

How do you feed that last one? Looks on the chunky side.
All of them are gorgeous (but I may or may not be biased with boas)!

I was feeding her too much n i realized not too long ago. i was feeding a jumbo rat like every 2 weeks. now im cutting it down to once a month or so.

I'd probably cut down to a regular large rat as well. Very very few boas get large enough for jumbos, and at that point a mixture of regular larges and xx-small rabbits would be preferable considering the high fat count in jumbos (nearly 50% - ~46% to be exact). Once a month is a good schedule, though, glad to hear you've taken some steps to slim her out! Unfortunately these guys lose weight sooo slow. Took me a year of dieting to get my boa slimmed out a few years ago, and he wasn't too terribly overweight.

It just a bummer because i still have like 5 jumbo's in the freezer to use up. i don't want my boa to become obese, but i hate wasting money at the same time. I guess i could see if the shop would take them back but i really doubt it.

If you want to use the rest, I would just move that boa to eating one every 2 months, and if you pick up some regular larges give it a large every other feeding. So the feeding would look something like this:
Give it a jumbo: 2 months later offer a regular large. 1 month later, offer another jumbo, and then 2 months later do another large. Rinse and repeat until you've gone through all the jumbos and then it can stay on a large rat once a month from there.

that's a good idea, i think ill do that n then stick to regular larges. this is my first adult female boa so i'm only now figuring out how they eat at this age
