View Full Version : Full Collection Update With Pics
I'm off work for the next few days so I'm doing a deep clean on all the enclosures. Figured it was a good opportunity to get pics of each snake in my collection. The pics are in no particular order as far as species.
Here are the first 10 to start with. I'll post another 10 when I'm finished with their enclosures.

Thanks! The food bill isn't too bad at this point. I buy in bulk to save and most of my snakes are juveniles so they're eating smaller meals.

Thank you. Those indigos are awesome for sure. The cal king is finally handleable without musking or biting.

I've said that more times than I'd like to admit. I'm sure I'll be saying it a few more times as well.

That black rat sure is tough and full of fire. He always like that, but it comes with being little and thinking everything will eat you.
Looking great! Nice collection :D
Thanks Tsubaki!
Wonderful collection, Dave. Definitely envious of the drys.

I would if I thought I could take her in a fair fight :pissedoff:. I used to do mma I taught her every dirty trick I knew, unfortunately she's better at them than I am now so I'm not chancing my arm :(
Here are the rest of the pics completing my collection update. Pics of Timber are in enclosure only because it was too risky to take pics in holding tub with lid off. Also included of pic of my valid PA Timber Rattlesnake permit to prove I am legally possessing it.

Thanks Martin. The Timber is one of my favorites. I like the dark color better than the yellow color timbers. He's a mean sucker though and full of fight. He's super hard to hook transfer so I use a set of tongs and a hook.

Oh by the way Dave I forgot to mention you can keep the rattlesnake's, I've enough trouble with the 2 in the shop every Saturday, the rest of your stunning snakes can have a one way ticket to Ireland ;)

Whoa!!!!! I've never seen anything like this! this is the reason my collection went from a babysitting job to 10 in less than 3 months!!!! Because of beautiful snakes like this!
The attitude of those beauty snakes is so pretty :) Hey you! Gimme that hand please! A bit closer now
Funny how your Rattlesnake permit isn't valid without a fishing license...
Nice snakes. Indigo so high on my wishlist... but I'm in Europe, so... :[

Thanks! If you look at pics of them on google you'll see plenty with attitude like mine. She's getting a bit more aggressive now that's she's getting larger and a little older at just over 1year. Once she's out of her enclosure and handled for a minute or 2 she calms down. Can't wait until she's a 10' adult.

All fish, reptiles and amphibians in PA are regulated by the PA Fish & Boat Commission. So that's why they require a fishing license because there is a dedicated season for venomous snakes. Once you legally possess one then you have to keep a valid fishing license yearly as long as you have the animal. I think it's just another way to keep money coming in with license fees. Lucky I don't have to renew the Rattlesnake permit yearly.
Those indigos are pretty sweet. I'm looking forward to them growing larger. I like all the drymarchons as well and should be adding a new one to my collection shortly.
