Made it back from Christmas and go to unload the dishwasher and boom. 20 +/- roaches all in there.

Talking to my mother in law, she uses a product that comes in powder form, that she mixes in a gallon pump sprayer and it works great. She specifically said its for spiders but has worked for roaches as well. Problem is, she doesn't know what it is, and the feed store she bought it from last time went out of business.

Anyone have any good ideas? I put down some diatomaceous earth behind the stove, pulled out the dish washer and fridge, and along where the tile meets the wall. Also put out a few sticky traps in areas where the roaches can get to them but the other animals can't.

Now, here is the issue. We have 2 cats that free roam, as well as 2 dogs that are only kenneled while we are at work. The snakes are away from this area, as are the T's and scorpion. So they aren't a big deal.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Update for anyone looking at this thread. It seems like the best bet will be a Boric Acid mixture with some sugar mixed in to attract the roaches. Going to make up both a light solution for spraying and a "gravy" like mixture tonight to kill these bastards.

That sucks man. I'm not sure if you'll truly ever get rid of them all with or without having a exterminator in. They're very invasive and I'm pretty certain you'll need to do your entire place. Maybe try and find a pest control forum or facebook group and ask questions there?-

That's what I did. I've called a few pest companies and none fit my conditions for all natural so we will see how this goes.

So far, I pulled out all appliances and did a good spray and made left my "gravy" for them. So far haven't seen any more yet, but going to wait about a week for to pull everything out and check.

I know that its not the best way to kill them all, but as long as I am not seeing any fras in the cabinets and what not, I'm happy for now.

Too many animals living in here to bring in harsh chemicals, not even to mention my 3 month old.

I hear you. It's unfortunate nobody has a natural way to eradicate them. Good luck, bud
