Found two huge poops in enclosure

Hi y'all :)

I'm still new with all this snake stuff :)

I've only had one problems with my corn snakes (I have an adult male and adult female) and that is that the male always poops on me :D

I found two huge poops today so is it safe for me to assume that they both pooped? The poops were just 10 cm(4 inches) apart from each other - and my snakes ALWAYS cuddles when sleeping / hiding:D

I fed them two adult mice each 4 days ago.

I want to know since I really want to take them out but I don't want to be pooped at once again. My male has only pooped in his enclosure twice - and like three times on me haha.

Snakes should be housed separately. They are solitary creatures in regards to almost all species and subspecies, corn snakes included, and they don't cuddle and would simply just find the same place in the cage comfortable even though we would wish to believe otherwise. There's no way of knowing which one pooped or if one pooped twice (one of the many reasons to house separately, in addition to cannibalism and disease to name a few) and even if they both did there is absolutely no way of guaranteeing that they won't evacuate on you. I hope that you are at least separating your snakes during feeding time.

Oh. I will look into that.

They've been together since they were young. They've been together for like 7 years or so and they haven't shown any symptoms of stress.

They're fed separately in different feeding boxes.

Should I still separate them? I'd have to give one of them away in that case :/

Should I still separate them? I'd have to give one of them away in that case :/ Best case scenario is to separate them. Hatchlings are usually kept together for very short periods of time. As they shed out they should be separated for various reasons. Most snakes only come together at 3 different times, one is if one snake is preying on the other, they are breeding, or they are hibernating. Rattlesnakes are known to hibernate together as are garter snakes. Feeding your snakes in a separate container is unnecessary and stressful.
