Delayed by 1 day due to weather, but it was for the health of the babies. That being said, my tiny trio of cemcrentic diamond back terrapins have arrived!

Holy smokes are they tiny!!! With these being my 1st hatchlings, I had no idea how small they would be! I was expecting them to be probably twice as big as they are. Lol.

The packaging was perfect, they were toasty warm and the breeder included a small water plant to aid with oxygen! So thoughtful!

2 were eager to rest on the plants, but 1 is a serious swimmer! Hasn't stopped going yet lol. I have a feeling that one might be a handfull! Of course these are unsexed babies, so I'll have to see how they turn out, but they are all beautiful!

Don't take my word for it? Have some pics!

Looking great Mink! Congrats. I'm digging the enclosure too. What size capacity filter is that?

It's a 20 gallon filter in about 5 gallons of water lol. It is working super well too. I will be adding some small fish like guppies to help with excess food particles as well.

I'll be honest, I think this is my favorite 'enclosure' haha.

Very nice. The only problem is....they grow up!

Of course they do lol.

Will have a 100 gallon brackish tank for them by the time they need it. Possibly a pond set up outside for supervised time out there as well.

Just make sure to get a filtration system that is at least twice the capacity of your enclosure, dont overcrowd. That will be two thirds of the problems with captive chelonia. Looking real good...Grats.
