As i found easier to create a Thread with all of my reptiles, this is my little collection. For the moment i have enough to take care but I still search for a Bell BP. I also had a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko and a blue tongue but i preferred to focus on snakes.

Beautiful and varied collection you have there, sorry I'm useless with BP morphs. Barry is a wee screamer ;)

Barry come from someone who travel a lot, not much time for him. He's 2 years old and not too used to handle as he bite a lot (and it's hurt) so i just let him use to me with food for the moment. Anyway when he's outside he can chill easily after a moment.

I just wait for all of them to grow as they are still young for the moment, it's difficult to be patient :)

Omg, he is ADORABLE!!! Makes me want one even more! Maybe I should start building that 6x2x3 enclosure....haha

they are not too complicated, it's just the temperatures that can be a problem. The previous owner didn't have a powerful lamp, temperatures wasn't hot enough but now it's ok. Barry is in a "little" terrarium for the moment but i still work on building a bigger one when i will have my own place (not sure to stay in this country). Anyway, i had a bearded dragon, leopard gecko and blue tongue for lizards, i really love the ackie, really active and funny. Also eat a lot !

Very cool. I'd love an ackie one day. My leopard geckos are pretty funny, but those little monitors look awesome. Nice diverse collection by the way.

Nice little collection there! I think that ball python you're looking for an ID on is a mojave, but I am not a ball python guy.

it's why i never offer clothes or at least i know the size before :) it's like perfume, you never know if the person will like it or not !

Also thanks again for all the replies !
With all this reptiles i also have some hairy companions like a black german shepherd and a baby rat.

I really think to adopt a Blood Python but i still don't know as i'm used to really calm snakes and they seem a bit more unpredictable...

I had a leopard gecko as it was my first reptile but he bites me all time... really nervous one. I would love to have a crested geckos by the way

Although bloods are harder to read than some and can bite out of nowhere with little warning other than a change in breathing...they are extremely rewarding and there are many docile babies you could choose from. The days of nervous, bitey imports are in the past. My advice would be to buy something in person that you could handle beforehand.

I found one in the reptile store where i'm use to go, the guy handled it a bit, the snake was young, a bit nervous and tagged in air but it was the same for my Rainbow boa when i choose him ( which i work really often and he start to be really calm now) so i will go tomorrow and ask to handle it. He told me he have 2 others but total demons so i will go with the "calm" one... i read a lot of good and bad experiences from people, but like all snakes, it's depend of the individual and also the time we spend with.

That's very true. And what and how you do what you do with them also matters. The younger the better as well, although a recent acquisition of a full grown wild Texas ratsnake defied common logic: it only bit me once!

Good luck with your new acquisition.

Some are docile by nature and some need more time :) My adult house snake is a sweetheart too !

So this is the new addiction, she bites the seller but when i took her ( after walking 30mn with her in a plastic box...) she didn't even strike, a good start even if i know it won't last. Also really strange how Blood python follow you with their eyes... I don't have name for her for the moment :(

I'm sorely tempted by a blood. Very nice snake you have there. Get some leaf litter in there so it can hide as it would in the wild-they look phenomenal with their head just about visible among the leaves.

Ultimately ambush snake are bloods hence the eye following. They'll not move but they are incredibly aware of what's going on.

They are really powerful too. For the moment she didn't try to bite me, i handled her a bit yesterday but she seems calm (she was biting the seller like crazy). But still, it's the first time that i'm a bit tense with a snake. Maybe because i had all my snakes when they were little and this one have a good size for a young one...
