View Full Version : Question About the Boa Market

I'm not sure where to put this so I figured given the topic, this was the best place.
I'm finally wanting to try again and purchase another BCI, but I'm having trouble finding "the one". I mean, I found lots of gorgeous BCIs and even on that I wanted to purchase but my silly self didn't put a hold on it. I've been super stuck on a Ghost boa, like super stuck. However, the few that I'm seeing that are still available are not the coloration I'm looking for (I'm quite picky). The Ghost I'm wanting to purchase must be more gray tone and have more of the Anery characteristics, but I also might consider an Anery that is lighter in colour and has blushing/fading. I've also been looking at a Pastel Dream Monster Tail because I just love the popping of the red.
So, my question is, am I just late to the breeding season when more is available or am I just not looking in the right place?
Any info is appreciated, thought I would ask a large scale (oh the unintended puns) community.

The new season is just beginning. Few more months before babies will be born again. Keep looking.

Yup, babies will be born in the spring and early fall, so those are the best times to look.

Unfortunately a lot of ghosts are underwhelming (imo), but I really hit the jackpot on my newest one. Best bet if you want a nice pale one is look to the ivory line and have lots of patience, having the hypo gene they won't quite look like a nicely bred anery, but they'll be a lot better than the average ghost.

Thank you. I settled for that Pastel Dream MonsterTail 100% Het Albino (Kahl) but he fits into my future plans with a buddy of mine (: Definitely still need a Ghost though!
