Just wondering how many animals do you own?

I'm currently sitting at 7. That number has been higher, and probably will grow again once I finish up law school. I'm just too busy to keep up with more than that right now, and my apartment is fairly small.

However, once I graduate and move, I think two things I'll be picking up immediately are a Florida kingsnake and a Bull snake.

WOW. That is insane!

Haha not really a big part of that is very tiny spring tails and dwarf isopods. I only have two bioactive set ups but these guys breed very quickly. Not including bugs I am at 29.

Yup and likely the last for awhile. Unless I get something small like more garters or a hognose or something. lol Or I buy some shelving units to put the tubs on to tempt me into getting more...I'm running out floor space. haha But I'll be trying my hardest not to buy any at least until sometime next year.

With just snakes I'm at 11, probably won't be many more than that this time. This is pretty managable, not keen on getting as many again. At least until I start breeding the boas :D (and then it will still be more modest, never doing the 200 babies in a year again :|)

If I actually counted the mice and rats I breed/raise for feeders to supplement the f/t, the 220, 125, and 75 gallon aquariums that still house fish, and the shipment of 100 brown anoles I received today for feeders on top of my 2 dogs, 53 snakes of my own and 11 others I'm housing temporarily I'd say close to 300.

Awesome, I live on a farm so This is want the my family and I own we have 1 pony, 3 cattle, 26 goats and 34 chickens 7 cats, 2 dogs, 2 African runner geese, 2 Canaidan geese. And this is what i personal own have a retic, 2hamsters, 2 american toads, leopard gecko, betta fish, carolina wolf spider, and a ornate box turtle.

If I counted the aquarium fish along with their shrimp / snail cleaning service that would just be insane. I figure 77 fish in various freshwater tanks and an indeterminate number of aquatic invertebrates.

I can't cram but a very few more snakes into the snake room, I'm not allowed to add any more fish tanks ("It looks like Scripps Aquarium in here!" laments my husband), we're at the county limit for dogs and our 2 cats will murder any interlopers so I guess we're nearing the end. I still want red-eyed green tree frogs though, dang it.

Will have horses when we build on our acreage. That's some years out though.

I don't have a lot of room in my apartment left.... but I have 1 snake (hoping for 1 more), 2 betta fisheses, 2 cats, 1 brat rabbit, and 1 horse (boarded else where). For me that's a good number. I would love to get my rabbit a friend but I'm kind of pushing it with the 2 cats and 1 rabbit. But he has the kitten to play with.

I havent been on in awhile, thinks have been way crazy for me.
But I have 12 snakes, 1 parrot, 3 dogs, 2 frogs, 1 fish tank(14fish), dubia colony.
Im thinking about getting a couple of pet rats if I can find some dumbos.
And Im also debating on selling my fish tank, its such a pain to keep clean.

Gerbils, mice, guinea pigs, fish, crayfish, chinchillas, cockatiels, diamond doves, dogs, cats... I'm gonna have to go with the 50+ to be safe. The guinea pigs are the most demanding and greatly reducing. I got in over my head there. I knew it months ago and was just seeing what situation I could work out but I cut over a dozen from my herd last weekend. The diamond dove project is the replacement guinea pig project except I'm keeping one little group of show quality and the giant cuy which are the same species as our pet guinea pigs but raised for meat all this time in south america. My boar's sire was 8lbs and at a bit short of a year old my cuy is easily longer than a ruler.

18 in total here: 2 cats and 16 snakes. Once I get to breeding, it could be easily over 100+ (at least 5-7 different projects I am working with). But that will be in a few years.

200 is so much. Makes me wonder how those who produce more then that manage it all! Especially those that don't do it full-time.

I generally aim for 120 - 140 babies a year with the pythons. The boas will be breeding soon but I believe we will be staggering their breeding so we don't end up with 300 babies.

I only have invertebrates. I only counted predatory invertebrates of which I have 22 (will be receiving 4 H. petersii scorplings very soon). I also have a couple colonies of different inverts, which would probably put me in the hundreds lol.

Wow... You might have a problem... I started collecting snakes last April... I have 5 snakes and a dog now... I was trying to see how far I could push my wife before she put here foot down... I really want an Albino Rattle snake; that was the straw that broke the camels back... I new 5 would be the limit anyway, so I thought I'd shoot for broke... Someday maybe!

Well I have my snakes, 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 guinea pig, 1 quaker parrot and lots n LOTS of fish :) And out of all of them that darn bird is the loudest lol.
