Hi everyone! Looks like a great group of people here. Well my name is Pete and I am a Park Services Specialist with The Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Snakes are my passion. I have a corn snake at home that I got as a baby. I do a lot of educational programs at different schools and other public events. My real passion is venomous snakes. One of best friends has been an owner and breeder of venomous snakes for years and has done some incredible work. He has been guiding me and showing me his knowledge over the past couple of years. At some point in the future I will be working towards getting my venomous permits. I'm a pretty easy going guy who just loves anything outdoors. I also enjoy wild edible plants and mushrooms. Really looking forward to meeting some nice folks and making some field trips to locate snakes. I do a fair amount of relocation's for folks that would normally kill any snake they see. I love to be able to save the snakes and help educate the people. Ok new guy ramble is over :)
