Just got my rosy boa. She's great. Heating is my concern in her 10 gallon tank. Help?

Hi, you will have to invest in a quality thermostat if at all possible. How are you heating the enclosure presently?

Red heat lamp.Temperature is 80. DO I use natural sun light. Should I keep the red bulb on all day? Should I use a floor heater?

You need to leave the heat on 24/7 so a heat bulb is not the best choice as the light will disturb the snake at night.

I personally don't like under tank heating so would swap the bulb for a ceramic heater controlled by a good quality thermostat. Also make sure you have some kind of guard to prevent the snake from being able to touch the ceramic.
