My new retic took his first meal with me tonight. I offered him a small rat. He was somewhat reluctant at first, but after some teasing he wrapped it up. I did expect a voracious feeding response, but that wasn't the case.

Congrats! Its always good when they eat. Some(few) retics are less voracious :D. He might just be taking his time to settle in though. My latest retic addition was quite calm first time I fed her, almost like she wasn't expecting food. But now she goes off like someone set her tail on fire!

Congratulations on him taking his first feeding with you and Tsubaki is right mate he could just be settling in ;)
