So I've been corresponding with Albert Clark since about mid-September about one of his babies, and she was the most vibrant, crisp little thing; she looked like a wasp, so I named her Vespa. .) She arrived today, and I got some pictures of her while she was out before setting her up in her enclosure to relax a week or so. (The light's not good, my husband was home but I didn't take her out of the snake bag till I got back so she had time to lay there and relax in a dark quiet place until I got home! So it's evening here now.) She's in her tub now, exploring some hides and getting acquainted till she finds a spot to hide and sleep. And she has the SWEETEST attitude. Was not even phased by the trip in the slightest, it seemed!

This is a pic Albert gave me of her so you can see how vibrant and bright her color really is; she's very crisp! (Hard to see here, but her eyes are this gorgeous mossy/emerald/gold green, it's beautiful!)

These were the pics we took before letting her be her after she arrived!

So pretty! I can see the green in her eyes. Glad she has a wonderful attitude! I hear once they get acclimated, they let their true colors shine haha.

Wow! She looks truly amazing PB. I am sure she will eat for you as soon as you make the determination to offer her. Both her parents are non aggressive and well adjusted ball pythons and its carried over to their offspring. She is a delight, and healthy as well as feeding machine.

She's has some nice yellow to her and the contrast looks great. Glad Albert was able to get you a beautiful BP.

I see she lost a few scales on the top of her head from rubbing up against the top of the rack while she is in the tub. I didn't notice that before.

Absolutely love how the piebald gene disrupts the pattern and makes all kinds of wonky designs! Did you notice that star pattern near har tail?

I'm about to feed her (and Ghost, both of their feeding days perfectly correspond to today,) I'll check her head again and give her another check-over while I do! I dunno if scales grow back, or anything, I've seen conflicting answers online, but she doesn't seem too stressed. .) I'll watch her! And thanks so much you guys, I was so excited, haha I kept messaging Albert thinkin I was annoying him just gabbing back and forth. .) Her pattern is so lovely, and she's just so bright, and she has the sweetest little curiosity, I just love her!

I own one of each of my favorite snakes, I feel complete. ♥

Hi, I am pretty sure those scales will return. Proper nutrition and husbandry will speed it right along.

Nope, didn't notice the star pattern until you mentioned it. Definite cool factor going on there.

She's not actually missing any scales Albert, I think that was just a weird shine in the pic from my lamp, because I saw the 3 that were super shiny there, but she wasn't missing anything. .)

Oh! Great. I know it's the same area where she has the head stamp and blushing. I surely didn't notice it before and that makes sense then. I'm glad I was wrong.

Yes mac, Vespa is 100% het for piebald as are all her siblings. So, pastel 100% het for piebald. One of her sisters is a normal also. Another is a super pastel.
