Grey Banded King Snake

Yeah for me! I just made arrangments to adopt a Grey Banded King Snake. All I know is that it is 4 yrs old and a male. I'll be picking it up from a buddy next week. When I get it I'll post more info and pics. I've always wanted one but never thought I would ever bother.

Grey-Banded Kings are one of my favourite Lampropeltis, although I no longer keep them.
They are absolutely spectacular animals, and I'm sure that you're really going to enjoy your new fellow.

Yup, but I'm 4 beardies short now! They went back to the zoo this week and thank god too, man they eat. He told me I could keep one for my self but I was just as happy giving the little bugger back;) The king is now at my buddies place in Moncton and I'm getting it on Sunday morning. He is sending me pics tonight. I'll post them asap.

...but what is it? Keeping in mind that my buddy only just got into the herp game and keeps lizards only. He was told it was a gray banded so that is what he told me. So anyway what the heck kinda of a king is it. The scale count on its head tell me its a king but what type of king? Sorry this is the only pic I have.
