View Full Version : Shedding Question
Monty, my normal, finished her second shed with what appears to be several single scales still having a piece of skin attached. The few scales have that "cloudy" look and I feel that it should not be an issue. BOTH eyecaps came off as well as that tippy-tail piece. Comments as to what you'all may see in having single scales retaining shed. Thanks
P.S. This second shed came off in one piece, with an occasional "hole" where those stubborn single scales retained shed.... (< 3-5 over the entire body)...
After 17 views of my shedding question, not the courtesy of a single reply from ANY active member. Either it was not deemed important enuf, or maybe something I should already know the answer to, either way, it is a PISS-POOR example of how "members" treat other "members" on this forum. Soooo, instead of WAISTING MY TIME with a RUDE, NARCISSISTIC group, I will find the answers to my few questions elsewhere. Whoever runs this sham, please DELETE AND ERASE ANY AND ALL INFORMATION CONCERNING MY "membership"... ... SEEEEE YAAAAA ..........

Dude you gave everyone 2 hours... This is a forum you know. There are people that viewed the thread but have no idea how to help, like me. No idea about your snake problem, I hope you can sort it out.

Sorry you feel this way. Just first try increasing your humidity percentage for the next shed. If it was at 60% then make sure you up it to 70% once you are sure the snake is in shed. What type of enclosure are you working with and how are you heating it? Also, what are your husbandry numbers? Temps etc.

sorry you feel this way about us. some of us don't feel expert enough to answer some questions and don't want to steer you the wrong way. i can assure you i read your post at least 3 times and was waiting to see if one of the people whose advice i really respect would answer you. i'm on here now as i was prepared to help. i was going to suggest warm wash cloths to be applied to the affected spots and gentle removal of the old shed. maybe you shouldn't' own a reptile as it takes patience to raise one and you obviously have none. maybe you should consider an anger control forum....

I'm also sorry Hank felt this way, but I'd suggest if you're looking for somewhere for almost instant answers that madhouse Facebook is a good place to be. Although you'll have to wait till the self appointed experts all argue about who's right until to get the information you want :D

Pics because what your describing doesn't make sense nor does it seem to be a big deal.

1. Don't act like a child
2. I suppose we shouldn't waste our time since you have no patience for us
3. I take offense to you call everyone narcissistic. That is solely for me. I don't care to share my nicknames.
Ha, I'm sure another forum will be lucky to have you.
Hopefully they will deem you important "enuf" :)
Chill out Hank and have some patience. There are plenty of people here who would gladly offer insight to your question. Just because 17 people viewed your thread doesn't mean they knew the answer or they could be members who are silent and don't reply to threads. Good luck with your quest for a better forum. I surely don't want you as a member of our forum if this is how you're going to act. Thanks for doing us a favor and weeding yourself out. Enuf said...
I'm not that sorry Hank felt this way. Upon joining he presented an ultimatum to the site (let me join and post or else kind of thing) and has been dismissive or derogatory towards other members when they've tried to help by answering questions. Who would rush in to help someone like that out, especially with something as simple as this with a cloudy explanation and no pics? Piss poor indeed. Seeeee Yaaaaa...
P.S. don't rob Aaron of his nickname. ;)
