I wanna know what kind of venom do they have? What are their bite effects? Their venom yield, toxicity, and LD50. I was wondering if this specie will make a good beginner arboreal viper.

There are not much information about the large-scaled pitviper (Trimeresurus macrolepis) available. According to **** Vissers “Asian Pitvipers” (Edition Chimaira, Frankfurt am Main, 2015), it is a small arboreal pit viper from southern India. **** Visser has no personal experience with this snake, so this information is secondhand experience at best.

Quote: “The venom is said to be very weak, and lethal envenomation accidents are unknown.” (**** Visser: “Asian Pitvipers” page 343)

However, this snake is definitely not a beginners snake. It lives in high elevation mountain ranges with really special environmental conditions. Very high humidity, during summer season, temperatures below 25° C (77 ° F), during Winter season night temperatures dropping near freezing point and rising to 20° C (68° F) during day time. So it is a challenge to create this kind of temperature range. There is no record of this snake being kept in Europe according to Mr. Visser.

I just saw this "***" for his first name, I am sorry about using a "prohibited" term, but the author's first name is D_i_c_k.
