View Full Version : 3 New Snakes Today
I added 3 new snakes to my ever growing collection today.
A pair of Texas Indigos. I only have a pic of the female bc the male was too wild and all the pics were blurry. I'll make a dedicated thread for them and get better pics after they're settled in.

I also got an Albino Chinese Beauty snake from Riddick07. I was fortunate to get one from her first clutch of hatchlings. I'll post more pics as well once he's all settled in.

Texans from Steve Binnig? Hows the color on them. Been looking to add a indigo.

Yep, Steves a great guy. He's all sold out on the indigos now. I was fortunate enough to snag a pair. Their color is very nice and dark. Very slight banded or mottled pattern and mostly solid dark belly. They're a creamy color from their throat to about 1/3 third of their belly.
I'll post more pics in a few days to nice they get a little more adjusted. I don't want to bother them too much right off the bat.

Nice, Texans always sell fast. Can't own a eastern since I live in Florida. Rubidus are alittle expensive.

Awesome new additions Dave. 3 new snakes at the same time would be an endorphin overload for me. :)
Wow... I really like that Albino Chinese Beauty snake!

The Indigo was definitely beautiful in person. Enjoy the albino boy!
Very nice pick ups, Dave.

really nice looking snakes. good luck with them.
Thanks everyone. So far they're all going well. They've mostly been hiding, but that's what I expect until they get adjusted. The Albino Beauty has been exploring a bit so I got to seem him out a few times.

Amazing pickups! They both look healthy too. Can't wait for more pics. Grats.
The 2 indigos ate fuzzy mice for me today. They didn't attack them like I expected. I left them in the enclosure near their hides and within an hour they were eaten. I did try to feed the Albino beauty, but it was a no go. He appears to be going into blue so I expected a refusal, but figured I'd give it a shot since it was feeding day.

That's great! Can't wait for more indigo pics. Are you going to vary their diet or stick to just rodents? I've seen a lot of indigo keepers feeding them everything and anything pretty much.
I'm not surprised the beauty is going blue. I've had two shed the last few days and the rest are blue right now.

Thanks Victoria. I'm was happy they ate for me. Yes, I do plan to offer them a varied diet just like I do for my cribo. I feed her rats, mice, chicks and recently a chicken neck.
Thats good to know that all the hatchlings are shedding or in blue at the same time. I look forward to seeing the little guy in fresh skin.
