Hi! My name is Savannah. I'm 25 and live in NW Florida. Been here all my life. Ever since I was a kiddo I was interested in reptiles/amphibians/pretty much all animals. My first cold-blooded animals were a couple of red eared sliders, followed by three fire-bellied toads and, much later on, a Bearded Dragon. Unfortunately I had to sell my beardie in 2014 because I was leaving the country for a year, but I've been in contact with the breeder who purchased him and will be buying my first snake from him (a Western Hognose) very soon! She is a normal het toffee girl. Next year I'll be purchasing a baby by my guy Loki, which I'm very much looking forward to.

Anyway! Will post pics when I can. I'll also be picking up a leopard gecko possibly from a local breeder for my classroom (no worries, he'll be solely a display animal, coming home with me for holidays and possibly weekends depending on how he handles adjustments).

Anyway...again...really happy to be here! Stoked to meet you guys and learn more about these awesome animals :)

Thanks for the welcomes! I will be paying for her on the 30th, so ETA is probably in a couple of weeks haha. I'm in no rush, as I still have to get everything set up for her. I am a teacher! I work with pre-k currently at a local private Christian school, hoping to move up into the higher grades next year. I do love the little kiddos but that's not quite my niche persez haha. I would much rather be in the 3rd-5th grade area.

By a bizarre twist of fate I am semester of teaching training college at a university in Pennsylvania and taught at a Catholic elementary school-can't remember what grades relate to what ages you side of the pond now but they were 6 and 7 yo's. It was many years ago now and I never graduated. I work in insurance now but at least have a training role again after many years out of teaching :).
