can someone post a pic of ASPen bedding??
do they sell it in the uk?

You might find it in a pet store as bedding for hamsters or mice etc. Just make sure that it's not mixed wood shavings that might contain cedar.
Here is picture I found...there are lots of brand names though.

I have found aspen to mildew too quickly.
Aspen is great for species that don't require higher humidity (sandboas, cornsnakes, etc). It shouldn't form mold or mildew if there is adequate ventilation, however if used for higher humidity species, this is what happens. It turns pulpy and molds in no time.

Well, i dont think i would use aspen for a san boa. But even with moderate humidity, if a snake gets in the water dish and spills some, it will mildew in a heartbeat.
