Help! Can someone tell me if my ball needs to be seen by the vet? He struck the glass when I was getting him ready to be fed - I had his food obviously too close and he clearly smelled it. He struck the glass really hard, and after he ate I noticed he had blood coming from his heat vents. This was last night, and he is no longer bleeding, but if there is any chance he has caused damage I cannot see, I want to have him seen, though I am not sure what can be done for him. If he were human, I would say he for sure has a concussion. Thanks for any thoughts you may have to share.

I would keep an eye on it but wouldn't go to a vet right away. It's probably something that will heal up well on it's own. Just keep an eye for swelling.

Thank you Andy_G. I will do just that.

As has been said, keep an eye out for swelling... My boa struck the glass and damaged a tooth, this caused a cyst to form and ended up with one side of his lip swelling... But that's just worst case scenario....

This sort of thing happens and 99% of the time they turn out fine. :)
