Went OK to be honest, my wife was a bit cheesed off but we're still friends-even sharing a Friday night beer.

That however definitely is the max until we move. Wouldn't get away with it a second time! At least though I can handle him etc without sneaking around etc so all is good. :)

Honesty is usually the best policy Danny. When I was waiting for my jungle to be born I was going to sneak a coastal in there without telling the better half. I decided to come clean and spill the beans just like you did. All I got was an eye roll and a piece of crumpled paper thrown at me. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be and I didn't have to use any sleight of hand :). Congrats again on the new addition!

Yeah I flat out told her. Makes it much easier to provide proper care for the snake forty and foremost and I don't like sneaking around my wife.

But I really have pushed my luck and that's definitely it before we move. She knows I'm getting a couple more when we do move.

That said I guess I'm lucky. It's three more reptiles I currently own than I thought I would and in particular I never thought I'd have a boa and Henry is just such a bonus. Very very chilled little guy when I'm doing his water etc...

We've been married long enough that I think if murder was on the cards by either party it would have happened by now!

That said she actually took it far better than I thought she would but then the telling is all in the timing and I got that just right!

She does know about the gecko though so that's still on!

I've been with my girlfriend for 8 years and I'm still on thin ice every day with whether or not I'll live to see the next day hahh....

Glad she took it well tho, I just show my gf a baby version of what I want and she goes all gooey and broody over anything that's a baby! :D

Glad i don't have to hide any animals from anyone, if they ask em how many and i tell them 8 or 9 or whatever number lower than 30+.. The current response is 'Oh i thought you had many more?"... haha :D

i got 3 small boas been in there for 3 months and a two year old motley that has been in there over a year she don,t know about

luckily she dare not go in there.she scared of them,dont think it helps when one of the corns got out 3 years ago and was found 8 months later 3 doors up,he had gone thru the winter at that, and two weeks ago one of the baby corns had escaped for a week and i hadn't told her and was crawling out her work bag .think it had been to work with her,that would of been a talking point at the dinner table,lol

the last of my adult corns will go this week so my 3 corns will be replaced by 3 boas (same amount) ish
still got ten baby corns to go like (nearly ready to go tho) so think she will be ok(i hope)
