View Full Version : Guess That Snake?
Seems to be quite a few of these threads lately so I thought I'd join the fun. Can you guys/gals guess what she is? Been snake I've been wanting to add to my collection for a while now.
She will be here tomorrow morning. I'll reveal the answer with a photo if nobody guesses by then.

At least narrow it down hot or not!
Carpet python?
Nope, good guess Mink. I used to keep many carpets in the past.

Not a hot.

A Bull snake would fit in nicely with your collection SWDK.

You're missing a true south American boa so my guess is a Bcc...

EL nailed it! It is in fact a bull snake. Here's a pic from the breeder.

That's a beautiful albino bull snake and a great choice Dave. Bulls are a lot of fun to keep.
Thanks everyone. Can't wait to see her in person tomorrow. I'll post pics once she arrived.

Thanks EL! I've been wanting a Pit for a while now. Wasn't sure if I wanted a Bull or Gopher. This Bull seemed to be perfect for my first one.

If that one is anything like my bull snake you'll love her.
She arrived safe and sound this morning. Here's a pic of here in natural sunlight.

Congrats again Dave! Glad she made it to you safe and sound. She looks pretty mellow. Sometimes Pits come with a little attitude but they get over it pretty quickly. Who produced your girl?

So far she's very relaxed and didn't have any attitude. I got her from Tom Kao in New Mexico.

Really nice snake. Don't see a huge number of bulls and gophers in the uk which is a shame as they're impressive snakes.
Always surprises people to see a good chunky colorbrid.

Nice looking new snake. Congrats!
Thanks everyone. She's a great snake so far. Her scales have a rough texture that I've never felt on a snake before. Not sure if that's normal with Pits as this is the first one I've ever handled?

They all have keeled scales Dave. I think it's pretty cool. All of my other snakes have smooth scales.
