Following the theme of snakes in the grass and given that Auntie Rachel had shed a couple of hours earlier I thought I'd get her out in the garden for a few shots.

Lighting wasn't brilliant - she has a lovely iridescence to her that does not really come out in these shots.

She's now around 14 months old and measures somewhere around 27" and weighs around 285g. I love her to bits!

Last photo is a viv shot this morning also...

Thanks guys. She's coming along nicely-really pleased with her. She'll always have a special pave in my heart for a number of reasons regardless of how many other snakes I end up with!

Thanks Richard. I don't really do morphs-why breed out all that natural beauty?!

I had a choice of several Colombian and CA imperators when I got her and I just fell for her. And she just gets better and better...

Got to love the natural look. Morphs are great but nothing beats the beauty of the natural look. She just stunning.

Gorgeous! I love her name :)

When toddlers name pets. She's named after my little boy's favourite teacher (or Auntie as they call themselves) at nursery (or kindergarten for those of you stateside :) ).

That is precious!!! Makes it even more endearing (and hopefully the Auntie isn't offended?) lol

She's a gorgeous boa for sure! I really love the dwarf look, but not so much a fan of their smaller size. :/ Maybe once I get my fill of the bigger boas (ha) I'll get a few. :P
