Hello,
I just joined this forum to seek out information from seasoned snake owners. And chat with people who don't think I am nuts to own snakes!! I am a mom of three boys, 40-something, and I love all animals, but my friends all think I'm cuckoo to allow snakes in my house! Two months ago, I bought a baby Kenyan Sand Boa for my 11 year old son. What a cool little snake! His name is Henry and he eats like a pig, is super docile, and likes to climb on the plastic trees in his tank. I think he has aspirations of being a tree boa!! I like my son's little Henry so much, that I went out and bought a snake for myself!! Nuts, right? She is a beautiful amelanistic orange and yearly corn snake named Daisy. She is 40 inches long and super gentle. The kids and I love her! The reptile store called her a "Sunkist" corn snake, but I can't find that anywhere on the Internet and she does NOT look like a "Sunkissed" at all. I'm very excited to have two great snakes in our house!
