Getting big. The male has been getting thicker lately I'll probably try him on some rats soon. The female is a lot longer than I realized I think she had a growth spurt recently or I just haven't been paying attention. Can't wait till she is ready to breed!

They are gorgeous snakes, corns right? I've never had one, but they are on my list lol.

The kinking or the bumps your seeing is a defensive thing. He does that and holds still sometimes he rattles his tail at me. He usually doesn't strike he is more of a run for the hills kind of guy. He will bite if I'm holding him and he feels that the "bonding" session needs to end...though he has gotten slightly more tolerant of handling. The kinking thing seems to be a common behavior in rat snakes.
