Very nice collection! I am a bit jealous of you guys who don't have limits of how many snakes you can have... I told my wife that 3 would be my limit... Man must keep peace on the home front... It took some finagling but I wanted three snakes that would challenge me. Yesterday I hit my goal...

Thanks EL! It will be more impressive once I add a Pit or 2.

Thank you. Right now I'm at 18 snakes. Tomorrow morning I'll be at 21 as I'm having 3 new snakes delivered. Told myself my limit is 30, but we will see how that pans out. :D

Thanks! I hope the purple color stays into maturity, but I'm not sure. He just shed last night so the colors pop today. I named him Prince bc of all the purple and I got him a few days after Prince passed away so I found it fitting.

Nice collection. My favorite would have to be the cribo, I'd love to add a drymarchon to my collection but just haven't for whatever reason. The WC albino garter makes me insane jealous as a herper. Best mutation I've found in nature is a hypo spotted salamander. Was it found in PA?

Thanks! Yes, found it by chance in PA. Wasn't even herping either. It was early May and we had a very heavy rainstorm. Saw this little white worm thing squirming around by my rock wall in the grass. I'm thinking the heavy rains forced her out. She was about 10" at best. Now 3 years later she's doing great and over 30".

For sure, I think they're fascinating and extremely diverse. I like many other snakes, but I've got colubrid fever.

@ Dave- You have a stunning array of critters. I totally feel you on the colubrid fever. I love my kings and bulls. There are so many amazing and diverse species to choose from. They have lots of beautiful morphs, with sizes from small to large, and the husbandry is pretty much foolproof. They're great snakes for beginners and for the most experienced keepers. That said, once you add a carpet python to the mix it opens up a whole new world. I'm just sayin ;).

Thanks EL! Carpets are nice snakes as well. I used to keep primarily carpets a few years ago. I had 8 in my collection back in 2012: A pair of Bredli, coastal tiger jag, a huge MBB coastal, red coastal, a baylin tiger, Diamond/IJ and highlighter jungle. I lost my job and moved to a smaller house so I sold off all my snakes which was a bummer. I regret having to get rid of them, but that's how life goes.

I've been thinking about adding another carpet into the mix. Not sure what I'd like to bring in, but I'm thinking a normal pattern coastal, Darwin or IJ.
