My snake ate a week ago, (7 frozen thawed mice) I don't currently have access to rats right now, but I will be ordering some soon. He is a 1200g ball python. I took him out 30 min ago because he had just shed so I wanted to clean out the tank, then he peed an impressive amount of liquid all over my boyfriend (lol) and pooped out what I'm guessing is urate. After he got it all out there was a single small drop of blood that leaked out of his cloaca. I'm wondering if I should be concerned or was he just straining a bit too hard? I'm thinking he was just trying to make a stink in order to escape.

Doesn't look concerning. If it is just a small amount of blood it can be normal but keep an eye out.

Totally normal. Don't worry about it. Usually during or after a shed a bloody show can occur. Especially in males who shed their skins from the internal hemipenal sheaths.
